Preview features let you try new functionality before it's generally available. Turn preview features on or off to test them and provide feedback. Some preview features introduce new capabilities, while others update the user interface without changing functionality.

Note
It might take up to three weeks after a release for a preview feature to appear in your organization. The latest release notes provide information on new preview features. Preview features become available first on Azure DevOps Services and then become standard features with an update to Azure DevOps Server.

| Permissions | To change preview features for yourself: no special permissions required. To change preview features for the organization: member of the Project Collection Administrators group. |

Select either your organization or personal settings from the dropdown menu and slide the toggle to on or off to change the feature status.

When you turn on a feature at the organization level, you activate it for all users, but they can still turn it off individually. When you turn off a feature at the organization level, it doesn't affect individual user settings. For more information, see Set user preferences.

If the for this account menu option isn't available, you're not a member of the Project Collection Administrators group. To get added, see Change project collection-level permissions.

When you turn on a feature at the project or collection-level, you turn it on for all users. If you turn off a feature at the project or collection-level, user settings aren't changed. Users can change feature status on their own.
