Use the Editor page of the Global Settings dialog box to specify settings for code editor windows.
To access the editor settings, on the Tools menu, select Global Settings, click GUI at the bottom of the left pane, and then select Editor.
Show line numbers in editors
To display line numbers in code editor windows, select True.
If a code editor window is selected when you change this setting, you may need to reselect the current object to update the display.
