Assign functional area permission to grant users or groups access to the functional areas of [!INCLUDEssMDSmdm].
To perform this procedure:
- You must have permission to access the Users and Group Permissions functional area.

In [!INCLUDEssMDSmdm], click User and Group Permissions.

On the Users or Groups page, select the row for the user or group that you want to edit.

Click Edit selected user.

Click the Functions tab.

Click Edit.

Click a functional area and click the Add arrow.

When you are done, click Save.
