Create attachment (deprecated)

Use this API to add an attachment to an outlookTask. The attachment can be a file (of fileAttachment type) or Outlook item (itemAttachment type).

POST /me/outlook/tasks/{id}/attachments
POST /users/{id|userPrincipalName}/outlook/tasks/{id}/attachments

Request headers

Name Description
Authorization Bearer {token}. Required. Learn more about authentication and authorization.
Content-Type A string that represents the type of data in the body of an entity. Required.

Request body

In the request body, supply a JSON representation of attachment object.

Response

If successful, this method returns 201 Created response code and attachment object in the response body.
