Delete application

Namespace: microsoft.graph

Delete an application object. When deleted, apps are moved to a temporary container and can be restored within 30 days. After that time, they are permanently deleted.

This API can also delete an agentIdentityBlueprint object by its ID.

HTTP request

You can address the application using either its id or appId. id and appId are referred to as the Object ID and Application (Client) ID, respectively, in app registrations in the Microsoft Entra admin center. Replace {applicationObjectId} with the id for the application object.

DELETE /applications/{applicationObjectId}
DELETE /applications(appId='{appId}')

Response

If successful, this method returns a 204 No Content response code. It doesn't return anything in the response body.
