Get tab

Retrieve the properties and relationships of the specified tab in a channel within a team.

Permissions

Choose the permission or permissions marked as least privileged for this API. Use a higher privileged permission or permissions only if your app requires it. For details about delegated and application permissions, see Permission types. To learn more about these permissions, see the permissions reference.

This API supports admin permissions. Microsoft Teams service admins can access teams that they aren't a member of.

Note

  • The TeamsTab.Read.Group and TeamsTab.ReadWrite.Group permissions use resource-specific consent.
  • The Group.Read.All, Group.ReadWrite.All, Directory.Read.All, and Directory.ReadWrite.All permissions are supported only for backward compatibility. We recommend that you update your solutions to use an alternative permission listed in the previous table and avoid using these permissions going forward.

GET /teams/{team-id}/channels/{channel-id}/tabs/{tab-id}

Optional query parameters

This method supports the $select, and $expand OData query parameters to help customize the response.

Request body

Don't supply a request body for this method.

Response

If successful, this method returns a 200 OK response code and a tab object in the response body.
