Update the properties of an existing sectionMap object in IMDF format on a specified floor, or create one if it doesn't exist.

Note

The Exchange Admin role is required to create or update a sectionMap.

HTTP request

PATCH /places/{buildingPlaceId}/microsoft.graph.building/map/levels/{levelImdfID}/sections/{sectionImdfID}

Note:

  • {buildingPlaceId} is the placeId of a building with which this section is associated.
  • {levelImdfId} is the id of the level in the IMDF file.
  • {sectionImdfID} is the id of the section in the IMDF file.

Name Description
Authorization Bearer {token}. Required. Learn more about authentication and authorization.
Content-Type application/json. Required.

Request body

Property Type Description
placeId String Identifier for the section to which this section map belongs. Optional.
properties String Concatenated key-value pair of all properties of a GeoJSON file for this section. Inherited from baseMapFeature. Optional.

Response

If the update is successful, this method returns a 200 OK response code and an updated sectionMap object in the response body. If the creation is successful, this method returns a 201 Created response code and a sectionMap object in the response body.
