Update sharePointProtectionPolicy

Namespace: microsoft.graph

Update a SharePoint protection policy. This method adds a siteprotectionunit to or removes it from the protection policy.

PATCH /solutions/backupRestore/sharePointProtectionPolicies/{sharePointProtectionPolicyId}

Request headers

Name Description
Authorization Bearer {token}. Required. Learn more about authentication and authorization.
Content-Type application/json. Required.

Request body

In the request body, provide a JSON representation of following properties to update sharePointProtectionPolicy object.

Property Type Description
displayName String Display Name of the sharePointProtectionPolicy. Optional
siteProtectionUnits@delta Collection(siteProtectionUnit) Collection of siteProtectionUnit objects to be added to or removed from the sharePointProtectionPolicy. Required.

To remove a siteProtectionUnit from the policy, specify the @removed annotation in the request body for the protection unit together with the ID of the siteProtectionUnit.

Response

If successful, this method returns a 200 OK response code and an updated sharePointProtectionPolicy in the response body.
