Upgrade to datafusion 53 (#321)

* Upgrade to datafusion 53

Upgrade to datafusion 53 and upgrade some other dependencies to match
the versions used by datafusion 53 (arrow libraries, etc)

Also make a few minor changes to fix new deprecation warnings.
