By default VSCodium does not pull extensions from the Visual Studio Marketplace due to licensing reasons, but instead downloads extensions from the Open VSX Registry hosted by the Eclipse Foundation. As a result, the KDL extension can currently only be used with VSCodium by configuring it to use the VS Marketplace (possibly in violation of licensing terms), or by manually downloading the VSIX file and using "Install from VSIX."
If it would be possible to directly host the KDL extension on Open VSX, that would make it much easier to use the extension from a default VSCodium install. Thank you so much! ♥
