rhino3dm.py is a Python package that is OpenNURBS plus additional python bindings compiled to a C-extension library that can be used on all current versions of CPython (3.7 +) and is available on all platforms through PyPi.org

- Python 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 3.11, 3.12, 3.13 - macos 13 (installed through homebrew)
- Python 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 3.11, 3.12, 3.13 - macos 14, macos 15 universal
- Python 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 3.11, 3.12, 3.13 - Linux via manylinux_2_28_x86_64 and manylinux_2_28_aarch64
- other architectures, operating systems, and python versions are supported through source distributions\
The easiest way to access the rhino3dm.py libraries is to use the pip installer from the Python console:
pip install rhino3dm --user
