I have the environment active, numpy is installed but it given error that numpy is not installed

I had this issue for the same machine.
environment active
numpy installed
vs code reflects the active env. but says numpy isn't there
ok, reinstalled numpy on env.
closes and restarted
I still have the error.

I remember one time removing vs code altogether and reinstalling it fixed it

Hi! Are you using the python environments extension? Can you clarify what action you are doing which says numpy is installed and which one doesn't? There must be a place where the wrong interpreter is getting picked up so knowing how you trigger it can help me track it down. Thanks!
