binding the copilot key

well yes, but as the copilot key sends 3 key codes at once, i didnt think there would be any problems, will there be?

However I don't how possible it is to bind the key currently without remapping. I've been struggling trying to bind it myself a bit ago before answering this.

I don't have a copilot key, so this might not work here, but I used a key remapper to try to mimic having one. What I found is that when I set it to send Super+Shift+F23 I was seeing Super+Shift+XF86Assistant, but if I did just F23 I was seeing XF86TouchpadOff. So in my niri config, I put Super+Shift+XF86TouchpadOff and that seems to work.

oh thats nice, it works for me here. kinda weird it sends touchpadoff but doesn't affect anything with the touchpad though so thats good.

If anyone is having this problem in the latest version(25.11 at the time of writing this), then use Super+Shift+F23 and it will work

m34568uky - my macro for copilot key, and still works for Shift+Alt+XF86TouchpadOff.
