Purpose

This pull request updates the minimum required version of the Azure Developer CLI (azd) to 1.18.0 throughout the documentation and configuration files. It also adds prominent notes to ensure users are aware of this requirement before deployment.

Requirements and documentation updates:

  • Increased the minimum required version of azd from 1.15.0 (excluding 1.17.1) to 1.18.0 in the azure.yaml configuration file.
  • Updated all relevant documentation references (README.md and docs/DeploymentGuide.md) to specify azd version 1.18.0+ instead of 1.15.0+.
  • Added prominent notes in both the README.md and docs/DeploymentGuide.md to inform users that azd version 1.18.0 or higher is required, including a download link for convenience. [1] [2]
